Created by artist Milly Evavold, this original Tiffany-style stained glass piece captures one of the island's most memorable discoveries: a naturally shed moose antler resting among blooming bunchberry in the quiet forest.
Milly spent much of her childhood exploring Isle Royale and later returned to assist with the Wolf-Moose Project. Drawing on those experiences, she designed and crafted this piece from start to finish as her most ambitious stained glass project to date. Inspired by the unforgettable experience of finding a moose shed tucked among bunchberry-filled woods, she sought to preserve that fleeting moment in glass.
As sunlight passes through the handcrafted glass, the antler and delicate white blossoms come alive with color and warmth, celebrating the beauty of Isle Royale and the wildlife that defines it.
