Jigsaw Puzzle with Tin - Cow Moose near Windigo, 2019

$37.99

One moose. A whole lot of branches. Good luck.

Captured by Wolf-Moose Project scientist Sarah Hoy in February 2019, this beautiful photograph shows a cow moose peeking through snow-covered branches on Isle Royale.
Sarah and an NPS colleague were snowshoeing through the island’s winter landscape to investigate why a collared wolf had been spending so much time in a nearby cedar swamp. Spoiler alert: the wolf was hunting beaver. Along the way, they encountered this moose, who was apparently just minding her own business and looking photogenic.

Now it’s your turn to find your way through the branches. With all those repeating limbs, this puzzle is going to make you work for every piece. Choose your challenge from 252, 500, or 1,000 pieces, settle in, and see if you can uncover the whole moose. Consider it a little winter fieldwork of your own.
• Pre-die-cut chipboard with non-edge pieces
• White metal tin box with the finished image on the lid
• Available in 3 sizes: 252 pcs (14″ × 11″), 500 pcs (21″ × 15.5″), and 1000 pcs (30″ × 20″).
• Glossy finish enhances colors and makes pieces easier to clean
• Ideal for gifting or framing once complete
